... especially when what you're working on is finding the place you're going to live, or finding a buyer for the home you're in now. You need help from someone who not only knows the DFW area but is also up-to-date on the latest tools, strategies, and resources the real estate industry has to offer.
That's what you get with Barry Klompus.
Barry works constantly to improve his professional knowledge and sharpen his expertise. He actively pursues the latest resources and technology to help you find your perfect home. Employing the most current marketing techniques he will give you an edge in selling your home.
You can rest assured that Barry is never satisfied with "good enough." He makes sure he can offer you the best because that's really the only thing that is actually good enough.
A licensed Texas real estate agent and broker for more than 13 years, Barry Klompus has received numerous specialty designations including the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). Barry has a heart for seniors and a set of skills that make him among the best in the field of senior real estate.
Within the span of a few years, Barry experienced the later-in-life transitions of both of his parents and his mother and father-in-law, as well as other senior family members. He saw first hand the sensitive, emotional and difficult circumstances our elders and their loved ones face when acting and reacting in “crisis mode.” From these experiences he was moved to create Elder Tree Realty brokerage and the Elder Tree Group in order to educate, advocate for, and assist seniors and their families as they navigate the transitions that occur later in life.
Barry is skilled in guiding clients as they plan for the unique set of circumstances surrounding senior-owned real estate – from the sale of a home, relocation, property management, or a plan to “age-in-place.” He has an established network of trusted advisors to assist with these significant life changes and decisions.
Barry is an active member of his community. He has served on the Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and has been honored with both the Chamber Member of the Year and Director of the Year awards. He also assisted with design and facilitation of Leadership Colleyville, and he currently serves as co-lead of the Chamber’s “Serving Our Seniors” group.
As a member of the Board of Trustees for Congregation Beth Israel, he is responsible for developing and managing community events related to mental health awareness, voters’ rights and responsibilities, and diversity and inclusion. He has been instrumental in conducting food and clothing drives, blood drives and events designed to aid the underserved in our community and beyond.
A native of the Chicago area, Barry enjoys travel, photography and music, and he is always in search of good movies and live music.
Barry has earned my trust. He cares about what his client actually needs and wants. I can't imagine anyone better.
